Discover What’s in Store:Women Investing in Women Digital, in partnership with DC Startup Women, proudly presents a special screening of “Show Her The Money” on Women’s Equality Day. This groundbreaking documentary exposes the shocking statistic that less than 2% of venture capital funding goes to women-led startups. Through powerful storytelling, the film reveals the systemic biases and uphill battles women founders face, while also mapping out concrete solutions for investing in this vastly untapped opportunity.
Following the phenomenal success of “Show Her The Money,” we are thrilled to bring together numerous organizations dedicated to women's empowerment for this event. By joining forces, we aim to amplify the power and influence of women in entrepreneurship and investing. The message is clear—and the time is now—to fund and listen to women.
Event Highlights:Networking (5-6 p.m.): Join us for a networking reception to connect with fellow attendees and panelists in a relaxed setting. You'll meet entrepreneurs and investors and be inspired by local women business owners in a showcase of female founders from the DMV region.

- Catherine Gray: Producer of "Show Her The Money" and Founder of She Angel Investors, Catherine is a TEDx speaker, author, and host of the Invest In Her podcast. She is passionate about empowering female entrepreneurs through her multimedia platform, which connects women to funding resources and encourages them to become angel and VC investors.
- Casey Williams: Casey Williams is a principal investor at Fenway Summer Ventures, a VC firm investing in early stage fintech. She is also the Head of Operations for RightWise Wealth, a wealth management and financial planning firm focused on the future of women-led wealth. Casey co-leads DC Startup Women with DMV founder Kay Rodriguez and is an angel investor into female founders.
- Jasmine Jones: Founder of Myya and Co-Founder and CEO of Cherry Blossom Intimates, Jasmine is inspired by her grandmother's battle with breast cancer and has created a revolutionary line of customizable, insurance-billable breast prosthetics and a telehealth platform to connect women with certified mastectomy fitters.
- Anu Bhardwaj: Founder of Women Investing in Women Digital, Anu is a serial social entrepreneur and philanthropist, listed on the 2020 Inc. Magazine Global Top 100 Female Founders and a recipient of the 2020 Transform Fund from the Islamic Development Bank. She has co-chaired the Blockchain for Impact Summit at the United Nations and leads Women Investing in Women Digital with nearly 1 million followers.
